Korean Performing Arts Center provides classes and private instruction on various Korean traditional arts including dance, drumming, folk singing as well as various instruments. Instructors are seasoned performers and dedicated teachers who have been professionally trained in their artistic practice from South Korea. Classes are subdivided into beginners, intermediate and advanced levels, and private instructions are available.
Performers and associates of the KTPAA present lectures and demonstrations of Korean traditional arts in various settings such as universities, museums, youth centers, cultural centers, etc.. The KTPAA’s resident musicologists, Ju Yong Ha (City University of New York) and Gloria Lee Pak (New York University), have presented workshops, lectures and demonstrations alongside Artistic Director, Sue Yeon Park and KTPAA’s performers in various settings.
